  Note: Most download files are "zipped" to reduce their size and therefore the time needed for download. It will be necessary to use WINZIP (see below) or an equivalent utility to unpack these zipped files before they can be installed and used.
DVCOMP.BAS: This BASIC program is used for for comparing the memory dumps from 2 camcorders. The file is not zipped. Uses the BASIC interpreter GWBASIC, which may be downloaded (if needed) from the GWBASIC link below.
DVIN LITE V1.7.ZIP: This Sony RM95 emulator is used for examining and modifying the contents of memory locations in a Sony camcorder's control system. It has an emergency button for use if the camcorder becomes "blocked".
GWBASIC: The BASIC interpreter needed for running DVCOMP.BAS.
RM95.ZIP: A zipped file which actually contains 2 utilities: RM95EMUL.exe (an RM95 emulator), and RM95DUMP.EXE, which will permit Sony camcorder memory values to be dumped to a text file.
Syntax is RM95DUMP.EXE>CAMFILE.TXT.
RM95EMGY.ZIP: A version of RM95.ZIP with an emergency button.
UPLOAD.ZIP An FTP client, used for uploading web pages to a hosting server.
WEBWRITER.ZIP A simple HTML editor, used for writing web pages
